C. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, Inglewood, CA 1991 – 1999

Responsibilities: Provided inpatient and outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, groups, and hospital employees referred through Employee Assistance Program. Also provided short-term psychotherapy through managed care contracts. Administer psychological and neuropsychological tests to rehabilitation and acute patients for diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning. Participate in multidisciplinary sub-acute, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, chronic pain, and stroke teams. Provided crisis intervention in ER, CCU, ICU. Design and present seminars. Develop and facilitate Diabetes, Arthritis and Grief Support Groups. Market hospital services through public speaking. Participate in program evaluation and quality assurance. Provided psychological and educational counseling for Diabetes Care Center. Member of Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team. Conduct and train staff to facilitate debriefings.
